A QUIET PLACE 2: THE BIG SCREEN IS BACK
Updated: Jun 11, 2021

A quiet place opened at the box office with a nice figure of $48 Million at the domestic box office which is so much of an improvement because this marks the highest box office opening week sale since the start of the pandemic. I am glad to say, officially the theaters are back and we love to see it.
A lot of people have been trying to figure out if the theaters can actually make a comeback but now we know that it is very possible and there is now hope for both filmmakers and movie lovers. not is even tough for theater releases with streaming networks gaining so much ground over this past couple of months as a result of the pandemic. With Covid vaccination on the rise and the Covid 19 cases steadily reducing in the United States we can all breathe a sense of normalcy.
We are now convinced that movies can still be released which can also have the capacity to make millions at the box office.
According to deadline.com , In its sophomore session, Paramount’s sequel ran up another $19.3M in 16 markets to bring the offshore total to $50M and global to $138.6M. This is just 47% of the international footprint and tracks ahead of the 2018 original by 15%.
This numbers are really beautiful to see, especially in times like this.
Would you be watching A quiet place and are you excited about the return of the big screens?
